The 'security and authorisation module' allows selection of generic 'authorised input and viewing' rights.
An individuals rights can be further tailored to limit the actionable input areas or viewing rights in all segments of all modules.
This is used to limit actionable input and viewing areas for staff in 'reception', 'admin staff', the 'marketing team', 'special projects team' or an 'Account Manager', for example.
It is also used for 'unqualified staff' in training or during 'probation' periods for new staff.
Where we are at & The Future
AI & APP INTEGRATION
The software example displayed was a paradigm shift that freed staff resources to be more productive in a "people to people" business. The move from paying rent for filing cabinets & paper systems proved to be profitable.
The next paradigm shift will be achieved by building templates for:
- other business activities that need to be addressed, monitored and reported
- Client web access to their data and information
- some automatic data input will save work
- compliance monitoring and reporting
- "compulsory business reports" production with flaged action dates
- risk management activities.
Some of the above are not addressed by the current software and are performed by people.
AI integration needs guarantees that rules relating to access and privacy of output reports will not be breached.
There are "in house" apps that provide some solutions.
Cloud or Inhouse?
With the current uncertainty and our continuing learnings about Cyber Security, we have countined with an 'inhouse' model at this stage.
There is no barrier to using the Cloud.
This was our choice.
We have defended ourselves as best we can, by keeping up to date with threats and constantly updating our risk management.
We think the future will be "Cloud" based when the new server software platforms are available.
We are willing to assess Cyber Security issues for our clients.

Any suggestions to improve the displayed software are welcome.
Updates
Updates will be required if legacy software elements do not run on the next generation server platforms. At this stage all is good.
Practice Management
There are many software offerings that make 'compliance management' simpler. Some are more useful to Insurance Brokers, than others.
It is hoped that the value of the different software offerings are assessed and benchmarked by the authorities tasked with testing an insurance brokers compliance processes and proceedures.
This benchmarking will give brokers confidence that their practice management system avoids 'systemic breaches'.
They will then be able to concentrate on monitoring their business, their human resource allocations and identify where training may be necessary in their workforce.
